Idaho Falls man arrested for credit card fraud, theft

Idaho Falls Police arrested 23-year-old Ryan K. Kreimann-Duane on a warrant for fraudulent use of a financial card and possession of stolen property Wednesday morning.

Kreimann-Duane of Idaho Falls was booked into the Bonneville County Jail.

According to reports, officers began investigating a credit card theft in February after a Rexburg woman reported someone had fraudulently used her credit card to make $740 in purchases at the Idaho Falls’ Home Depot.

Officers tracked the fraudulent use to Kreimann-Duane. It was later found that Kreimann-Duane stole the credit card from the woman when he was her server at an Ammon restaurant. The woman used her credit card to pay for her food at the restaurant. Kreimann-Duane processed the purchase but never returned the credit card to the woman.

The woman did not realize he hadn’t returned the card.
