More wind with scattered snow showers
Winds picking up over the next couple of days as stormy weather moves in from the West/Northwest. A cold front arrives for Friday and Saturday with dropping temperatures into next week. Scattered snow showers will favor the higher elevations north and east of the Snake River Plain. 1 to 3 inches from the Driggs area to the Island Park area.
Tonight: Lows in the teens and cloudy. Southwest wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.
Thursday: Cloudy with highs in the low 30’s. Chance of snow with gusty winds. Slight chance of snow during the day, with more scattered snow showers for the evening and overnight hours.
Friday: A chance of snow. Mostly cloudy, with highs into the mid 30’s.
Saturday: A chance of rain and snow. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 35°. Chance of precipitation is 30%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.
