Idahoans Challenged to Complete 250,000 Acts of Service for America’s 250th Birthday

REXBURG, Idaho (KIFI) — Recently, Idaho made history as the nation’s first JustServe State, in recognition of the state’s high level of community volunteerism.

Governor Little, joined by state leaders, accepted the award at a recent Capitol celebration honoring Idaho's dedicated nonprofits and volunteers. To mark the occasion, the Governor issued a special challenge: 250,000 acts of service across the Gem State by Independence Day 2026, in honor of the nation’s 250th birthday.

usan Stucki of JustServe Idaho Falls joined Local News 8 in-studio to highlight the initiative and explain how residents can help reach this historic goal. Watch our whole interview above.
