Bonneville honors former coach Bryan Lampard at home opener Friday night

IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (KIFI) - The Bonneville Bees honored a former coach, Bryan Lampard, at Friday night's home-opening win over Century after Lampard died in February.

The Bees wore uniforms donated by Rockwell Homes with a special patch on their helmets to honor Lampard. Bryan's family came to Idaho Falls from multiple parts of the country and took part in a pregame ceremony as well.

During the game, Jack Romander scored a 60-yard defensive touchdown that was significant in the victory. After a Bee scores a touchdown, they get a brand new ball to give to someone special in their lives in the stands.

Romander, a close family friend to the Lampards, gave the ball to Bryan's mom, Carol Lampard, a wonderful tribute to the former Bees coach.
