Winter Storm Warning issued April 2 at 2:17AM MDT until April 3 at 6:00PM MDT by NWS Riverton WY

* WHAT…Heavy snow. Total snow accumulations between 12 and 18
inches and up to 24 inches along the western slopes of the Tetons.
6 to 10 inches of total snow accumulation is expected in
Yellowstone National Park, with amounts up to 18 inches along
higher elevations across southern portions of the park. The
Mammoth area will see 1 to 3 inches. Winds could gust as high as
45 mph.

* WHERE…Teton and Gros Ventre Mountains and Yellowstone National
Park.

* WHEN…Until 6 PM MDT Friday.

* IMPACTS…Travel could be very difficult, including over Teton
Pass and Togwotee Pass.
If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency.
