Far-right shadow looming over Swedish EU presidency

STOCKHOLM (AP) — There are concerns in the European Union that Sweden’s ambitions for its presidency of the Council of the European Union won’t materialize into concrete progress. That’s because of the role played by a far-right, Euro-skeptical party in the ruling coalition. Sweden took over the rotating presidency for the next six months, tasked to move forward on a series of important _ and sometimes divisive _ files ranging from migration issues to the reinforcement of democratic values in the 27-nation bloc.
