Alameda Middle School back in session Friday

POCATELLO, Idaho (KIFI) - UPDATE 5/25/23: Pocatello/Chubbuck School District 25 says Alameda Middle School will be back in session on Friday, May 26 with field trips and other off-site activities as originally scheduled.

Food service will be available for those learners who plan to grab sack lunches for breakfast and/or lunch.

Work to repair the water line and restore utility services is expected to be completed Thursday.

School will be closed on Monday, May 29 in observance of Memorial Day and learners can plan to be back in classrooms on Tuesday, May 30.


ORIGINAL: School will be canceled for Alameda Middle School Thursday, May 25 due to a break in the water line.

The break has caused minor flooding and resulted in the main water being temporarily shut-off.

The school district will provide updates as new information becomes available.
