At least 2 killed as elevated road collapses in Bangkok
BANGKOK (AP) — Thai authorities say at least two people have been killed after an elevated road being built in Bangkok collapsed. Another 11 people were injured in the accident on Monday, according to the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration. Bangkok Governor Chadchart Sittipan said in a news conference on Tuesday that one person was killed at the site and another later died at a hospital. Authorities are investigating the cause of the collapse, which occurred on the west side of Bangkok. Chadchart said the debris at the site was being removed after authorities confirmed no one else was still trapped.
