Degraded Air Quality and Burn Ban for Lemhi County lifted

LEMHI COUNTY, Idaho (KIFI) - UPDATE 8/3/23: The Idaho DEQ has lifted the Air Quality Advisory for Lemhi County (North of Leadore).

ORIGINAL: The Idaho Department of Environmental Quality has issues an Air Quality Advisory to notify residents of Lemhi County, specifically north of Leadore, of degraded air quality due to wildfire smoke.

Open burning is currently prohibited.

The current Air Quality Index is unhealthy for sensitive groups and is forecast to be like that for a few days.
