Teton County Wyoming Search and Rescue has new helicopter
TETON COUNTY, Wyo. (KIFI) - The Teton County Wyoming Search and Rescue team is preparing for the winter rescue season with a new helicopter.
A nine-month campaign known as 'Mission Critical' helped raise the $7.25 dollars needed to get the chopper.
Having a year-round helicopter eliminates the uncertainty with lease contracts and allows search and rescue to do complex training missions and rescues no matter the season.
