JERUSALEM (AP) — Israeli officials say Lebanese Hezbollah militants have fired antitank missiles at an Israeli community just over the border, badly wounding a crew of utility workers. The Israeli military says it’s striking the launch site with artillery fire. The Israel Electric Corporation said workers in the rural community of Dovev were wounded while repairing lines damaged in a previous attack. Israeli media reported that six people were wounded, one critically. Hezbollah claimed responsibility, saying it had launched guided missiles against a “logistical force” that it claimed was installing spying equipment. Israel and Hezbollah have been clashing nearly every day, threatening to open another front in the Mideast’s latest war.
