At least four people stabbed at Louisiana Tech University in Ruston; suspect in custody
RUSTON, La. (AP) — Authorities in north Louisiana say four people have been stabbed on the campus of Louisiana Tech University in Ruston and one person is in custody. The Ruston Daily Leader reports that city police chief Randall Hermes said the Monday morning attack was random. Hermes said it appears the attacker surprised the victims from behind. The newspaper reported three of the victims were hospitalized. Details on their conditions were not immediately released. Officials said the fourth refused treatment.
