Fourth ITD snow plow hit

BOISE, Idaho (KIFI) - Another warning to slow down on the wintry roads has been issued after the fourth snow plow was hit this year for the Idaho Transportation Department.

It happened on Interstate 84 near the Blacks Creek Rest Area south of Boise.

Officials say a crash was blocking one lane and forcing all traffic to merge.

The plow was clearing snow along the shoulder, when a semi-truck attempting to merge hit it.

No one was injured and damage was minimal.

Officials say to please slow down and watch ahead for changes in traffic patterns.
