2 rescued from burning boat on Mackay Reservoir

MACKAY, Idaho (KIFI) - Two people were able to escape a boat that caught on fire at the Mackay Reservoir.

It happened on Friday, June 7, 2024.

DiAnn Moir shared a video of the boat fully engulfed in flames. They said they had the only other boat on the lake when the fire happened and were able to rescue the man and woman on board the burning boat.

We are working to learn more about the accident and will update this story when we get it.
