TAMPA, Fla. (AP) — Jill Biden says she’s “all in” on President Joe Biden’s reelection bid as he insists anew that he isn’t leaving the race. Some Democrats want Biden to drop out because of his poor debate performance against Republican Donald Trump. But the Democratic incumbent has brushed aside those calls. The first lady campaigned Monday in North Carolina, Florida and Georgia, saying “Joe has made it clear that he’s all in.” She added that she’s “all in, too.” Jill Biden commented while rallying veterans and military families to vote for the president as part of the Biden team’s effort to regroup and shift the focus back to Trump.
