The Center Street underpass in Pocatello will re-open

POCATELLO, Idaho (KIFI) Getting into historic downtown Pocatello will get easier.

The Center Street underpass will re-open on Sunday, August 18.

It has been closed for several weeks for repairs. 

While there is still more work to be done on the project, it cannot move forward until the Union Pacific Railroad completes its construction review process.

It is anticipated that the construction will resume in the spring.
