Emergency crews respond to pedestrian crash in Shelley

SHELLEY, Idaho (KIFI) — Police are urging drivers to avoid the area west of Hanson Avenue on 1400 N after an accident involving a pedestrian Thursday morning.

According to a Facebook post from Shelley Police, emergency personnel, including the Idaho State Police and the Bingham County Sheriff’s Office, are currently at the scene conducting an investigation.

Drivers are instructed to seek alternate routes to allow emergency responders clear access to the area.

The condition of the pedestrian has not yet been released. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
