District 93 starts preschool literacy program

AMMON, Idaho (KIFI/KIDK) - Bonneville Joint School District 93 is helping prepare preschooler's in their district with a new monthly program.

Once a month parents will get a book and an activity that helps children ages 3-5.

The program started with falling literacy rates in the district as well as Idaho state.

District 93 hope to better prepare children and parents for a successful academic career.
