One hospitalized after crash on US 26 and Hitt Road

IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (KIFI/KIDK) - UPDATE 3:20 p.m. A Rexburg man was hospitalized at 12:21 p.m. Thursday after a two-vehicle crash at 25th East and US 26 in Idaho Falls.

Idaho State Police said Seth Bowen, 27, was southbound on 25th East in a 2014 Volkswagen Jetta.  

Douglas Wickham, 57, of Hagerman was eastbound on US 26 in a 2018 GMC Canyon. ISP said Wickham failed to stop at a stoplight and entered the intersection, striking Bowen's vehicle.

An ambulance transported Bowen to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.  He was listed in good condition Thursday evening.

Bowen was not wearing a seatbelt.

The crash remains under investigation.


ORIGINAL: Police said more than one person was sent to the hospital after a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of US 26 and Hitt Road Thursday afternoon.

A car and truck were involved in the crash around 12:30 p.m.

Police ask you avoid the area while they clean the crash up.
