Jackknifed semi-trailer blocks US 26 lane

PALISADES, Idaho (KIFI/KIDK) - The Idaho Department of Transportation reports US 26 eastbound is blocked near Palisades Reservoir due to a jackknifed semi-trailer.

ITD says the blockage is between Little Elk Creek Road and Big Elk Creek Road about five miles east of the Irwin area.

Officials say to expect delays.

All other highways across southeast Idaho are currently open, although travel conditions vary widely.
