Kelly Canyon Resort opens today
RIRIE, Idaho (KIFI/KIDK) - Kelly Canyon’s 63rd winter season kicks into full gear Thursday.
Lifts start running at 12:30 p.m. and the hill will be open from 12:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
On Friday and Saturday, the resort will open from 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
“We are off to a great start this season, and we expect a great snow year," Kelly Canyon Resort co-owner Cherie Stoddard said.
Regular season hours are as follows:
- Weekdays:Â 12:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
- Fridays, Saturdays and holidays:Â 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Kelly Canyon Resort is located about 30 minutes east of Rexburg, Rigby and Idaho Falls. It has four lifts, groomed trails and a terrain park. Kelly’s kid-friendly bunny hill is suitable for any beginner who wants to get out of the house and start enjoying the snow.
