3 Teens Arrested In Gun Shop Burglary
Bonneville County Sheriff deputies arrested three Idaho Falls teens in Nevada in connection to the Gun Shop burglary.
Two 16-year-olds and a 15-year-old boy were arrested in Nevada last Friday for driving a stolen vehicle. They were arrested again on Thursday in connection to the Gun Shop burglary and two other Idaho Falls robberies, one at an Idaho Falls convenience store and one at a Mexican restaurant. .
The three Idaho teens arrested in Nevada, are now officially charged in the case of a burglary and two robberies in Idaho Falls.
As this case unfolds, we are not only learning the three are charged for the The Gun Shop burglary and the robberies at the Los Adalbertos and Common Cents gas station, but that there are others involved.
Police said there are also three other teen suspects in question.
Idaho Falls Police Department Detective Ken Brown said those teens will soon be presented to the prosecutor’s office to face charges. As of now, there are a minimum of six people involved, but the case isn’t closed yet.
“We also want to make sure all the guns are accounted for. You have a bunch of weapons that were stolen, those could be circulating around the Idaho Falls area, and used in an act of aggression,” said Brown.
The three arrested teens are a facing charges of burglary and robbery, but there could be more.
