Police: Woman Arrested With 10 Lbs. Of Pot
A Nevada woman is in the Bingham County jail for having ten pounds of marijuana in the trunk of her car.
Capt. Kurt Asmus said an officer stopped Rose Gibson for speeding on Meridian Street early Sunday morning.
Asmus said when it turned into a drug search, the officer found 10 pounds of pot in suitcases in the trunk of her rental car.
Police said if sold by the ounce, that’s about $30,000 to $35,000 worth of the drug, and Gibson could face trafficking charges too.
