Missing Rexburg Teen Found In Utah

Crews in Summit County, Utah, have found a Rexburg teen who has been missing for most of the day.

Joseph Schellenberg, 17, was camping with his family at Crystal Lake in the Uinta Mountains. He was last seen Monday night when the family went to bed at the Long Lake Campground, which is only accessible by foot, Sgt. Ron Bridge said.

Family members reported the teen missing at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday. He was found 12 miles from their campsite around 5 p.m. Tuesday safe and in good condition, Sgt. Bridge said.

Schellenberg is described by family members as mentally challenged with the mental capacity of a 6-or 7-year-old, Sgt. Bridge said.
