Tribes Show Off Art At Fort Hall

Tribes from throughout the United States and Canada have converged on Fort Hall this weekend for the Shoshone-Bannock festival, and their best artists are on display.

The tribal festival art show began Saturday.

More than 150 Native-American artists are showing off beadwork, photography, painting, and sculpture.

Organizers of the tribal art show said the arts are tightly connected with the identity of the Native-American people.

“I mean it’s just so visual. Our people are visual, and the explosion of color and the culture that we want to share with you,? Art Show Coordiantor Bonnie Wuttunee-Wadsworth said.

Sunday is the last day of the festival and the last day of the art show.
