Body Found In Fort Hall

Fort Hall police have identified the body of a man found dead in the Fort Hall Bottoms area Sunday night.

Reservation spokeswoman Laverne Beech said the body is Clint Ballard, 45, of Fort Hall.

Ballard?s body was found floating in Spring Creek by a family swimming in the area, Fort Hall Police Chief Pat Teton said.

The cause of death is under investigation, Teton said. Ballard?s car was found about mile from where his body was found. Police are now attempting to contact the person who was last seen with him.

An autopsy is planned for 2 p.m. Monday.
