Crash Kills Blackfoot Man On I-15
A Blackfoot man is dead after crashing into the back of a combine on Monday night.
Clayton Young, 32, of Blackfoot, was driving north on Interstate 15 when around 8:54 p.m. his 1993 Buick collided with a combine. Young was killed in the crash, Idaho State Police said.
It happened near milepost 98 which is close to the Rose exit. According to ISP, Young was not wearing his seat belt at the time of crash, but that is not believed to be a a factor in the crash.
The driver of the combine, Dallan Carlson, 19 of Malta, was not injured in the crash.
Idaho State Police are still investigating this accident.
