Man Arrested On Charge Of Attempted Rape

Idaho Falls police arrested 46-year-old Fred Julian Pando on a charge of attempted rape.

The alleged victim, a 17-year-old female, stated that Pando gave her alcohol and then tried to sexually assault her around 1:30 a.m., police said in a news release Tuesday.

Pando was arrested early Sunday morning.

He was booked into the Bonneville County Jail.
