Ron Paul Speaks To Enthusiastic Voters In Idaho Falls

Ron Paul spoke to a full house at the Idaho Falls Civic Auditorium on Monday.

The GOP presidential candidate arrived a few minutes late to the event, which began with a prayer.

?Today our personal liberty is under threat,? he said.

Paul spoke about a variety of topics, including returning to the principles of the Founding Fathers, pulling out of the United Nations, reducing the national debt and getting rid of the Department of Education. He said much of government spending is based on the assumption that government knows what?s best for you.

?It?s the young people in this country that are demanding these changes,? he said, highlighting the fact that most of the crowd consisted of younger voters.

He also said older voters were joining his cause.

The rally was held on the eve of Super Tuesday, when Idaho Republicans will hold their caucus.
