20 Laid Off At Pocatello Plant
Twenty workers at the Hoku Materials plant in Pocatello are losing their jobs.
The polysilicon manufacturer said it is working with affected workers on severance packages.
Amy Burks-Stewart, marketing and public relations coordinator for the plant, called the action an “unfortunate thing we had to do to sustain the viability of the company.”
