The National Weather Service in Pocatello has issued a wind advisory for southeast Idaho.

Winds are expected to blow between 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 45 mph until 9 p.m. Tuesday.

Strong gusty crosswinds may make travel difficult along Interstate 15 north of Idaho Falls. Heavier vehicles should use extra caution and reduce traveling speed, the weather service said.

For Lemhi County, the weather service has issued a high wind warning, in which winds could reach 30 to 45 mph, gusting up to 65 mph until 9 p.m. Tuesday.
