Girl Dies In Firewood Accident
A child died in Fremont County after a stack of firewood collapsed on top of her, the Fremont County Sheriff?s Office said.
At about 4 p.m., deputies received a call of a missing 8-year-old girl. She was found under the stack of firewood when they arrived at the home. CPR was started, and the child was transported to Madison Memorial Hospital, where she died as a result of her injuries.
Her name is not being released pending notification of next of kin.
