Victor Wins Drinking Water Grant

The city of Victor has secured a $2 million low interest loan to help improve its drinking water infrastructure.

The Idaho Department of Environmental Quality approved the low interest loan to help Victor construct a pump house and replace two water mains.

The loan will be financed by DEQ’s State Revolving Loan Fund. It carries a simple 1.75 percent interest rate payable over 20 years.

At those rates, the loan will save the city $663,678 when compared to average costs for municipal general obligation bonds.
