Chubbuck man killed in motorcycle crash identified
The Idaho State Police have identified the man killed in a motorcycle crash north of Inkom.
The victim is Christopher G. Matthews, 29, who lost control of his 2003 Harley Davidson motorcycle on Hoot Owl Road at about 7:30 p.m. Thursday. The motorcycle went off the road and collided with a fence. Matthews died at the scene.
His passenger, 24-year-old Shannon Cozzens of Wyoming, was taken to a Pocatello hospital with severe injuries.
The ISP says they were not wearing helmets.
Police did not release Matthew’s name until shortly after noon on Friday to notify family members.
