Welfare check lands Pocatello man under medical care and suspicion

Pocatello Police have a few questions for a man they found during a routine welfare check Thursday. Officers were called to a residence in the 1100 block of East Center. An adult male was taken to an emergency room for medical treatment.

While police were in the home, officers spotted a new television matching one recently stolen from Fred Meyer. They also noticed the man matched the description of a suspect in that case.

The man was not immediately interviewed due to his medical condition. Investigation will continue.
