Power County deputies investigate cow deaths

Power County authorities are investigating the shooting deaths of two angus cows in the Michaud Creek area Saturday. The Power County Sheriff’s Department said both animals were shot with a small caliber weapon, most likely a .22.

Rancher Ron Swanson said the cows were valued at $3,000. Swanson has offered a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.
