Man with assault rifle robs Maverik
A man robbed the Maverik Country Store on West Broadway with an assault rifle early Saturday, police said.
According to police, the man is white, about 5’7″ tall and 160 pounds. He was wearing a gray hoodie, black hat, gloves and black sunglasses. A white bandana concealed his face.
Police said Monday that the man walked into Maverik around 1:40 a.m. carrying an assault rifle and demanded money from the cash register. He took an undisclosed amount of cash and left the store on foot, heading west.
