Ice cream for breakfast to benefit children

Ice cream is delicious, but for breakfast? It’s all for a good cause. The second annual Ice Cream For Breakfast awareness campaign was held at the Candlewood Suites today in Idaho Falls to raise awareness for Give Kids The World Village.

It’s a resort based in central Florida that makes dreams come true for children with life-threatening illnesses. Candlewood Suites’s goal is to raise $5,000 for the organization. Along with ice cream, the Idaho Falls Chukars were also there to sign autographs for fans.

Payton West, a big Chukars fan, said he got six autographs.

“We’re still in the bottom of the level to make it to the big leagues but they look at you like you’re a superstar, it gives you a good feeling.” said Nick DelGuidice, third baseman of the Chukars.

And if you couldn’t make the event today and would like to make a donation, the Candlewood Suites is raising awareness all month long.
