Dr. Slaughter ready to scare
Dr. Slaughter is back in Idaho Falls for his annual summer scare.
He’s setting up shop in a new location next to Bowlero on First Street.
Organizers say visitors can expect plenty of new chills and thrills this year, including state-of-the-art displays and a live “scare cam.”
All proceeds benefit the DARE program to keep kids off drugs.
“A lot of people think the officers just go into schools and they talk about not doing drugs, and this and that, and everything else, but it’s not,” said Darrell Wagner, who co-founded the annual haunted house event. “It’s a program that teaches self-esteem to the kids.”
Dr. Slaughter’s Summer Scare is happening Friday and Saturday from 7 p.m. to midnight.
Admission is $10, or $13 for fast-track admission.
