Bike and Build volunteers arrive in Idaho Falls

Dozens of volunteers rolled into town on their bikes, getting to work with Habitat for Humanity.

More than 30 young men and women participating in Bike and Build cycle across the country all summer to help local affordable housing nonprofits.

The group started in Virginia Beach, Va. and will end their ride next month in Cannon Beach, Ore.

“It’s been incredible — obviously physically demanding, riding your bike on average 70 miles every day,” said Micah Rapp, one of the volunteers. “But the most extraordinary thing is meeting everyone.”

Bike and Build will spend three days in Idaho Falls, building shelves and helping to organize the materials in Habitat for Humanity’s storage facilities.
