Youth conference planned at BYU-Idaho

About 4,000 teens from 14 to 18 are expected on the Brigham Young University-Idaho campus for a two-day Youth Conference on Aug. 17 and 18.

The conference is being sponsored by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and 20 of its eastern Idaho LDS stakes. A spokesperson says highlights will include a talk by General Young Women’s President Elaine Dalton at 5 pm Friday.

Participants will also hear from an as yet unidentified general authority of the church on Saturday, as well as former major league baseball star Dale Murphy.
