“30 Days, 30 Questions” No. 23

IDAHO FALLS, Idaho — Sports Line continued its “30 Days, 30 Questions” segment Wednesday night with the answer to question No. 23.

“Can Blackfoot repeat as 4A state champions?”

Blackfoot lost starting quarterback Trae Pilster to graduation, and the Broncos return just one starting defensive lineman and one linebacker from last year’s squad.

According to Bonneville head coach Fred Armstrong, Blackfoot is on of the best coached teams in the area, and he thinks Buck will have the Broncos ready to go when Blackfoot opens the season August 31 at home against Skyline.

Blackfoot went 12-0 en route to the championship last season. It will be tough for Blackfoot to go undefeated again this season. If the Broncos can get hot at the end of the year, the should have no problem going deep into the playoffs.
