Chukars fall to Ogden

OGDEN, Utah — The Idaho Falls Chukars couldn’t hold onto a 3-1 lead as they fell to the Ogden Raptors 5-4 Wednesday night.

Fernando Cruz (1-2) earned the loss after giving up four runs on four hits in just two innings of work. Sam Selman started the game, going four innings while striking out seven and walking five.

Rainier Bello hit a two-run homerun in the top of the fourth to give the Chukars a 3-1 lead.

Idaho Falls continues its road trip against Ogden Thursday night in Utah.
