Taste of Idaho comes to Snake River Landing
The ninth annual Taste of Idaho happened Thursday evening at Snake River Landing in Idaho Falls.
More than a dozen local favorites gathered to serve uptheir best dishes.
“Il Castillo, and we’ve got Firehouse Grill, The Cellar,” said event coordinator Kerry McCullough, who rattled off some of the local restaurants represented at the festival, before listing some of the chains. “We also have Buffalo Wild Wings, we have Stockman’s, we have DB’s, Shari’s, Kiwi Loco.”
Just like certain chefs enjoy doing, the Idaho Falls Chamber of Commerce is kicking it up a notch this year.
“We’ve made it a little more intimate,” McCullough said. “So that people can dine out on the pier, there’s going to be table rounds and everything, and centerpieces, and we’ve classed up the event quite a bit.”
Live music was provided by the Mike Banks Quartet, and drinks courtesy of two different local beer and wine gardens.
Proceeds from Taste of Idaho benefit the Chamber of Commerce.
