Clients get a visit from Dr. Slaughterhouse

Halloween may be a ways away, but one local group got a special visit from Dr. Slaughterhouse Tuesday.

Dr. Slaughter brought its “coffin” bar-b-que to the Development Workshop in Idaho Falls and served lunch to clients.

The workshop helps individuals who have a disability or who are disadvantaged to recognize and achieve economic and social independence.

Dr. Slaughter’s Dance Team performed for the crowd and even taught clients their dance moves to popular Michael Jackson songs, including “thriller.”

Coordinators with the Development Workshop say it’s important for the clients to experience the same joy and pastimes everyone else does.
