Police find burglary suspect in closet

A Soda Springs man was arrested after police said witnesses caught him breaking into his grandfather’s truck.

Police were dispatched to the 100 block of Sunset at about 10:30 a.m. Sunday for a vehicle burglary in progress.

Officers said when they arrived, Travis Lynn Wheeler, 29, fled. Police searched the area and found him finding in an apartment closet in the 200 block of Sunset.

He was arrested on a charge of burglary, as well as two felony Bonneville County warrants.
