Another pot farm found in southern Idaho

Law enforcement officers found three marijuana grow sites in Gooding County on Thursday.

Sheriff’s deputies and Idaho State Police detective responded to the sites in response to a tip of a large amount of pot growing in a cornfield on 3300 South. They found more than 2,600 plants, with an estimated street value of $5 million.

The investigation is ongoing. ISP and Gooding County deputies are asking if you have any information regarding these grow sites or others like it, to report it to the ISP District 4 Office or to the Gooding County Sheriff’s Office.

This is the latest in a string of located marijuana-grow operations found in southern Idaho this year. (See “Related Content” to the left in full-Web view for more information.)
