Police investigate 2 Idaho Falls break-ins

Idaho Falls police are investigating two burglary-related incidents.

The first was an attempted break-in at the Trackside Mall in the 300 block of Poulson.

The attempted burglary occurred sometime late Thursday night and early Friday morning.

Police responded to the business around 9:20 a.m. after it was reported that there was evidence that someone tried to gain entry into the business. Police found an exterior door, an electrical box, a basement access panel, several windows and a section of the roof damaged from someone trying to gain entry.

Police have no suspects in this case.

Officers are also investigating burglaries that happened in the 300 block of B Street sometime late Thursday evening and early Friday morning.

Police said three businesses in the Rogers Building reported burglaries.

The business owners of Raelea’s Menageries and Grandpa’s Barbecue called police after the both discovered cash missing from the tills. A business owner that sells items out of the Menageries store also reported the theft of cash.

There are no suspects at this time and it’s not known how entry was made into the building.
