Man injured in Pocatello shooting incident

Pocatello Police are investigating a shooting incident at around 1:35 a.m. Thursday. Shots were reported fired on the west side of Pocatello, but officers were unable to locate the precise location early today.

This afternoon, police said they found evidence related to the case at a residence at 528 Fremont. Officers have been at that scene since 3 am.

At 2:34 am Portneuf Medical Center reported a male subject had walked in with gun shot wounds. Police determined the subject had stab wounds, but that a gun was involved.

A woman claiming to be an aunt of the injured man said he was living in the residence with two other brothers.

Detectives said investigation was continuing
