Chubbuck fire truck rolls over on way to fire
A Chubbuck fire truck rolled over on the I-86 onramp late Thursday night on its way to a trailer fire.
Idaho State Police said water in its tank shifted causing the truck to roll onto its side of the Exit 61 westbound onramp.
Two firefighters were taken to the hospital and released.
They’re still trying to determine how damaged the truck is.
It happened shortly before 11 p.m.
The Chubbuck fire chief said the trailer fire was on Gas Plant Road. The trailer is a total loss, he said. The fire appears to have started underneath the home.
He said the fire is still under investigation to determine a cause.
